Hi, I'm BJ!
As a Chicago native, my roots in the Chicagoland area run deep. I grew up in the southern suburbs, have called Chicago's North Side home for more than 20 years, and currently live in neighboring Albany Park. As a full-time RealtorĀ® serving Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, I combine my firsthand knowledge of the city's diverse neighborhoods with daily market analysis to help buyers and sellers make informed, confident real estate decisions.
Before beginning my real estate career, I spent ten years as a high school teacher on Chicago's South Side. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Ambrose University and a Master of Arts in Education from North Park University. My background in education continues to shape my approach to real estate: clear communication, thoughtful guidance, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to making complex decisions easier to understand. These skills, combined with my negotiation experience, allow me to advocate for my clients throughout the buying and selling process.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy cycling through Chicago, spending time outdoors in every season, and exploring the city's restaurants and neighborhoods. I'm also an animal lover and appreciate the people, places, and experiences that make each Chicago community unique.
